The holidays can be a beautiful and exciting time, but they can also be a time of excessive running around, sleepless nights, disruption in schedules and chaotic stimulation. Families and friends getting together with different personalities, unresolved conflicts, broken expectations and there are always those button pusher type people present. Despite the joy, these other factors are enough to drive even the most calm and centered person to insanity.

Amy holds a BA from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and received her MSW from Smith College School for Social Work. She has always been interested in alternative and mind body approaches to health and healing. Amy is a long time yoga practitioner and recently earned her 300 advanced teacher yoga training certification and restorative yoga teacher training. She has worked in various inpatient and out patient mental health settings, as well as, various academic settings. She is passionate about creating accessible and affordable education to raise mental health awareness to a diverse audience. As the mother of four, she is inspired to nurture and provide pathways to each individuals learning from a biopsychosocial perspective to foster growth of the whole person.
